Ayurveda has helped me so much on my healing journey that I wanted to formally learn it to be able to help those reaching out for help with Lyme disease and tick-born illness. I studied to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner for 2 years at the Yoga Veda Institute after meeting someone on LinkedIn who had healed from Lyme and had studied there recommended it to me. I love how Universe works.
If you are not familiar with Ayurveda, that is OK. I am happy to share more with you. Ayurveda is the sacred science of life. It has been in existence for at least 5,000 years, which really got my attention. Anything that lasts that long has merit in my opinion. Humans would have moved away from it had it not a good value.
At its core, Ayurveda is a simple and spiritual approach to healing the body, mind, and soul. That is another reason I appreciate this healing modality. It looks at the entire being on many levels, not just a superficial, reactionary level. Ayurveda does its best to trace back to the root cause of dis-ease in the body to permanently change the body for the better.
Ayurveda is a great guideline to learn how to balance your body, mind, and soul to achieve optimal health. It uses nutrition, breathwork, spiritual practices, and many other healing ideas to help you achieve our true state of being, our prakruti, that many of us get knocked away from through various life experiences. Once we start entering into the vikruti state, or imbalanced state of being, various ailments will begin to appear. The sooner we can adjust that imbalance back to a more balanced state, the sooner we can stave off further dis-ease and regain full health.
